Maximalist Stylist & Design Storyteller

Taylor Quinn
More Is More — When It’s Done With Heart
I’ve always believed that our homes should tell stories. Not quiet, minimal ones — but rich, layered, slightly chaotic stories full of personality, memory, and joy. That’s the heart of my work: helping people create spaces that feel like an extension of who they are, not who they think they should be.
My Design Philosophy
Maximalism, to me, isn’t about clutter or excess. It’s about intention. It’s about surrounding yourself with things that spark joy, memory, or beauty — and arranging them in a way that feels harmonious rather than overwhelming. I love mixing patterns, eras, colors, and textures because that’s how real life looks. Our homes should reflect that.
What I Love Writing About
I write about bold color choices, the art of layering, collecting with purpose, and how to make a space feel deeply personal. I’m especially passionate about showing that maximalism can be warm, welcoming, and even restful — when it’s done with care and a strong point of view.
A Little About Me
I’ve always been a collector — of objects, stories, colors, and moments. My own home is a constant work in progress, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. When I’m not writing or styling, you’ll find me hunting for vintage pieces, rearranging my gallery wall for the hundredth time, or planning my next trip to a flea market.
I hope my writing gives you permission to embrace the beautiful messiness of a life well-lived — and to create a home that celebrates it.
