When you think of homes owned by the rich and famous in California’s exclusive Beverly Hills area, you’re probably thinking of celebrities and studio executives – maybe a few real estate moguls and corporate executives for good measure. But, if you’re talking about the biggest, baddest and most luxurious home in Beverly Hills, then you’re talking about a video game designer who goes by the name of “Notch”.

Markus “Notch” Persson should need no introduction to millions of gamers around the world, as he’s the creator of the ridiculously popular Minecraft. Fans of the game might recall that Notch sold his company a little while ago to Microsoft, making himself a billionaire in the process. Well, when you do something like that, you’ve got money to burn, and so Notch did… On his absolutely swanky Beverly Hills pad.

At any rate, we thought we’d show you what success in video game design can net you. So, let’s take a look at “The House that Minecraft Built”, to the tune of $80 million… (Man, it must be good to be Notch!)

Talk about curb appeal! And, don’t sleep on that garage that’s sunken below the home. It’s got room for six cars!

2. Although…

Calling it a “garage” doesn’t really do it justice… Perhaps you can think of it as a kind of a showroom.

3. Come Right In

If you want to get this front door to open, you won’t need a key. Instead, you’ll need the right pin number for the keypad.

4. Step Right Up

Once you’ve made it past the front door, though, you’ll instantly appreciate the contemporary design (and incredible views) of the home.
